Helping you feel lighter, calmer and more like yourself
For adults and children navigating anxiety, worries, confidence struggles and emotional challenges, with personalised hypnotherapy tailored to your individual needs.
When life starts to feel heavier than it should...
Your mind never seems to switch off. Small worries feel bigger than they should. You're exhausted from carrying so much, yet still trying to keep everything moving. Sometimes you just need a space to pause, breathe and figure out what comes next.
Support that feels personal and grounded
Hi, I'm Jess.
I know how easy it is to keep putting yourself at the bottom of the list. To tell yourself you'll deal with it later, keep going, keep pushing through and hope things start to feel easier on their own.
I work with adults and children who are struggling with things like anxiety, confidence, worries that won't go away or feeling weighed down by more than they're letting on. Together, we'll explore what's been going on and find an approach that feels right for you.
I work from my private therapy space in rural Harpenden, as well as online, offering hypnotherapy, belief coding and subconscious mind work. My approach is gentle, down-to-earth and focused on the person in front of me.
How we can work together
Hypnotherapy
For when your mind won't slow down and life feels harder than it needs to.
When worries keep circling, confidence feels harder to find, or you feel stuck in habits and patterns you can't seem to break, hypnotherapy can help you better understand what's going on and create positive change.
-
Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind, the part responsible for many of our thoughts, behaviours and emotional responses.
It can help with:
• Anxiety and worry
• Confidence and self-worth
• Stress and emotional overwhelm
• Fears and phobias
• Habits and behaviours
• Sleep difficultiesEvery new client begins with a free 15–20 minute consultation so we can talk through what has been going on, what you would like support with and whether we feel like the right fit.
Your initial hypnotherapy session lasts around 75–90 minutes and includes consultation, goal setting and treatment. Follow-up sessions are around 50–60 minutes and are tailored around your progress, needs and goals.
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, so the number of sessions needed can vary from person to person.
Sessions are available both online and in person.
Children's Hypnotherapy
Gentle support for worries, confidence and big feelings.
Children don't always have the words to explain how they're feeling. Children's hypnotherapy offers a supportive way to help them understand their emotions, build confidence and develop healthy coping skills.
-
Children's hypnotherapy may help with:
• Anxiety and worries
• Confidence and self-esteem
• School-related worries
• Sleep difficulties
• Emotional regulation
• Fears and habitsSessions are tailored to your child's developmental stage, attention span and emotional needs.
Younger children often respond well to shorter, focused sessions using creative and engaging techniques, helping them feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.
Parent involvement can be included where appropriate.
Belief Coding
For the patterns that keep showing up, no matter how hard you try to change them.
Sometimes we know exactly what we should do, yet still find ourselves reacting in the same way, doubting ourselves or ending up back in the same place. Belief Coding helps uncover the deeper beliefs and emotional blocks that may be driving those patterns.
-
Belief Coding is designed to help identify and release limiting beliefs, unresolved experiences and emotional blocks that may be affecting how you think, feel and respond.
It combines subconscious work, emotional processing, nervous system regulation and elements of neuroscience to help uncover the root of recurring patterns.
Many people choose Belief Coding when they feel they have tried to move forward but something still seems to be holding them back.
Belief Coding is a dedicated deep-dive session lasting around 2–2.5 hours, allowing time to explore the deeper layers behind recurring beliefs, emotional responses and patterns.
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out
Some people come to me knowing exactly what they'd like help with. Others just know that something doesn't feel quite right anymore.
Whatever brings you here, we'll take the time to understand what's been going on and what you'd like to change. There is no pressure to have the right words or all the answers. Together, we'll explore the best way forward and build an approach around you, your experiences and your goals.
Because no two people experience things in the same way
What works for one person may not work for another. That's why I don't believe in following the same approach with every client.
I take the time to understand what's been going on for you and tailor sessions around your needs, experiences and goals. This allows us to focus on what feels most helpful for you, rather than trying to fit you into a set programme or process.
-
Alongside hypnotherapy and belief coding, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches including NLP, EFT tapping, Reiki and Guided Meditation.
These additional tools allow me to adapt sessions to the individual, whether we're working on anxiety, confidence, emotional overwhelm, limiting beliefs, fears, habits or emotional wellbeing.
My training includes:
• Hypnotherapy
• Children's Hypnotherapy (Hypno4Children)
• Belief Coding
• NLP Practitioner & Master Practitioner
• EFT Tapping
• Reiki
• Guided MeditationRather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I use the techniques and tools that best support the person sitting in front of me.
A few questions I’m often asked
-
Hypnotherapy is a gentle therapeutic approach that works with the subconscious mind. By guiding you into a deeply relaxed state, it can help you explore and change unhelpful thoughts, behaviours and emotional patterns that may be affecting your day-to-day life.
-
There isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. Some people notice positive changes within a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. The number of sessions will depend on your goals, circumstances and what you'd like help with.
-
Yes. Sessions are available both online and in person from my private therapy space in rural Harpenden. During your initial consultation, we can discuss which option feels right for you.
-
If you're unsure, that's completely normal. The first step is simply a free, no-obligation conversation. It's a chance to talk about what's been going on, ask any questions you may have and explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
-
Not at all. Some people come to me with a very clear goal, while others simply know that something doesn't feel quite right. Together, we'll explore what's been going on and decide on the best approach from there.
